Development directions and identified articles
An illustrated development direction describes an appearance starting point. It is not a stocked article, confirmed composition or supply offer. An article specification needs an identity and supporting written information. Do not replace an article's composition, dimensions, testing or availability with assumptions based on the word herringbone, tweed or wool. Ask the textile team which article and sample stage can support your intended garment.
Physical sample decisions
Screen images, zoom controls and illustrations cannot establish true physical scale, handfeel or garment performance. Measure a physical repeat with a recorded method and inspect appropriate samples for the planned use. A buyer's trial record documents that buyer's observations under stated conditions. It does not automatically become factory approval, a laboratory result or a bulk acceptance standard. Keep approvals, sample versions and unresolved requirements explicit.
Reference rights and your entries
Use reference photographs and design material that you have permission to share. Keep their source and any permitted-use limits with the reference. The local observation board does not transfer a photo to a factory or upload service. You attach material in your own chosen message. Entries should describe the project accurately; the tool preserves them as your input rather than verifying ownership, specifications or test results.
Quotations and order terms
Prices, minimum quantities, payment, shipping, delivery and applicable tests must be confirmed against the actual article and transaction. The website does not introduce textile payment terms or promise a production schedule. An exported sample enquiry is a request for discussion. Follow any subsequent quotation, sample approval and contract process with the relevant textile entity. The website operator's identity does not replace the identity of that contracting entity.
External contact and records
The site's email and WhatsApp links help open a draft or short summary. They do not send a message on your behalf or prove that an enquiry was received. Fred Textile links lead to an external website whose current company and contact information should be checked there. Keep your sent brief, attachments and the team's response together, particularly when a requirement or sample decision changes.

Questions for this step
Does downloading a brief place an order?
No. The export is a buyer enquiry record. Prices, availability and order commitments require the relevant written discussion and commercial documents.
Can I use an illustration as a manufacturing specification?
The illustrations communicate visual rhythm only. They are not weave diagrams or production samples. Use identified physical references and confirmed technical information for manufacturing decisions.
Can a trial result be reused for every article?
A trial applies to its recorded sample, garment part and conditions. Recheck the relevant conditions and article identity before extending a result to another sample or production stage.
